Freshman Seminar

  • Seminar is designed to ease the students transition to high school and provide them with the basic skills needed to be successful in high school and college level coursework.  

    The course will cover study skills, character education/Leadership, & Service to the community.  We will also be touching on public speaking skills as well as creating a supportive learning community environment by participating in project adventure activities.

    This couse does count for credit and applies to your child's GPA so there will be assessments, projects, and a final.

Freshman PE

  • Freshman PE will run marking periods 1,3 & 4.  The curriculum covered will include Fitness, Softball, Soccer, Flag Football, Weight Training, Volleyball, & Basketball.

    There is a final for this course and there may be assessments given in each unit.

Freshman Health

  • Health will take place marking period 2 and the curriculum includes Personal Identity, Charachter Development, StressManagement, Depression, Suicide, Sexual Education, Substance Abuse/Addiction, and decision making.  

    If a parent or guardian has a concern about any of these topics please contact me to discuss alternate options.

Junior PE

  • Junior PE will run marking periods 1,2, & 4.  The curriculum will include Fitness, Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Quoits, Speedball, Floor Hockey, Weight Training, Volleyball, Badminton, Softball, & Pickleball.

    There is a final for this course and there maybe assessments given in each unit.

Junior Health

  • Health will take place marking period 3 and the curriculum will include Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships with a focus on power and control in a relationship, Rape/Date Rape, Sexual Education, Communication Skills, Stress, Nutrition, Eating Disorders.
