		| Back to Guidance | Scheduling Timetable   Februrary Guidance counselors visit sending districts to hold scheduling conferences with incoming ninth grade students and their parents   March Guidance counselors conduct classroom visits to review program of study and provide students with scheduling tips/procedures Students bring home the Program of Study to discuss scheduling options with their parents Scheduling Day – Students obtain teacher recommendations and submit their schedule request   April Individual scheduling ppointments with guidance counselors by student request Schedule requests are entered into computer Incoming freshman applying for honors courses and high school college preparatory students applying for the honors program are required to supply a writing sample on one of the Saturdays listed in the District School Calendar.  Plan to arrive by 8:45 a.m.   May Master schedule created for school year Refinement of student schedules   June Opportunity for students to change their schedule requests   Summer Student schedules mailed Add/Drop period for students   September Last schedule adjustments made during the first week of school
