At the end of each marking period those pupils that achieve a grade average no lower than 93 (no grade less than 85) will be named to the HIGH HONOR ROLL. Pupils who earn an 89 average (no grade less than 74) will be named to the HONOR ROLL.
At the end of the fourth marking period, Seniors who have earned a cumulative average of 94 or better will be provided with the opportunity to be exempt from the final examination for the course or courses in which they qualify. Student exemption will be conditional on the following criteria: academic average of 94+, successful attendance as evaluated by the attendance policy, and positive citizenship and discipline.

National Honor Society
Junior and Senior students are eligible for selection by a teacher committee that is appointed by the Principal. Eligibility criteria include a 92.00 cumulative unweighted G.P.A. and evidence of leadership, service, and character. Members are expected to continue to demonstrate these qualities. For more information on the National Honor Society please visit their website.
Records

The Permanent Record for each student is maintained in our guidance office. It is the school’s official record and includes activities, attendance, class rank, grades, honors and test scores. This record follows students when they enter an institution of higher learning or request recommendations for employment or scholarships. The importance of the high school record cannot be overestimated. In addition, no student records will be released to outside organizations or individuals without the consent of parents in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.
