Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born in 1879 in Ulm, Germany. At a young age he didn’t show great academic promise. Albert started to study physics during his free time when working as a patent clerk in Berne, Switzerland. In 1905 he wrote three papers that were highly recognized . The first one was a mathematical description about the random motions of tiny particles. The second described the photoelectric effect. This is when electrons are emitted after light hits certain metals. He won a Nobel Prize for this paper. The last paper and the most significant in physics was on special relativity. This was on the physics of objects which are moving at constant velocities. It also included the finding of the connection of mass and energy by the equation E=mc˛. About 10 years later Einstein developed his theory of relativity. This formed our basic understanding of the universe's structure. Albert Einstein died in 1955. Albert Einstein was a brilliant man and contributed to the world greatly with his theories.
