     by Alison Bancroft
     Wednesday, November 25 2009

Did you know that Belvidere is the home of dancers, rock bands, singers, and guitar players? Project Graduation 2010 hosted its 21st Annual Talent Show on November 24.  The participants wowed the crowd with their performances. The acts were divided into two levels, elementary and high school, and consisted of baton twirling, clogging, piano solos, and much, much more....

As I turn on the television, I’m greeted by numerous commercials abound with the spirit of Christmas. Why should I be surprised, after all? It is the holiday season, and every corporation worth its salt is trying to sell you a product. The girls were really getting into it and eventually the game was stopped and everyone went home angry and hurt....

The once sheltered and secluded Belvidere is now changing its ways and becoming more open minded. Two clubs have begun this year in response to the underprivileged Belvidere in hopes of making it well rounded for all. The seniors that started them did it for the benefit of all the students and of course for their cause. The two extracurricular activities are STAND and Diversity Club....

Football

   Lessons Learned This Football Season

                     by David Yannarella
                     Tuesday, November 24 2009
At the beginning of this football season, I didn’t know what to expect. This was my first year in marching band, and I was excited to be able to hang out with my friends. On top of that, I would get into every game for free. But looking back on the season, I realized that there were many more lessons to be learned about our school. I’ll share a few of them with you....
