ABOUT OUR STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT Results for the three schools in our District are listed separately below. High School High School Proficiency Exam (HSPA) The High School Proficiency Assessment is used to determine student achievement in reading, writing, and mathematics as specified in the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. The test is administered in March of a student's junior year of high school. First-time eleventh grade students who fail the HSPA in March will have an opportunity to retest in October and March of their senior year HSPA Results from March 2007: 159 students took the test.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Number of Belvidere students taking the test 92. Percentage of class 66%. The average scores are as follows (800 perfect score).
Oxford Street School Each grade is tested at the Middle School. New Jersey Assessment of Skills and Knowledge (NJASK) are conducted for grades four through seven and the Grade Eight Proficiency Assessment (GEPA) is administered for grade eight. Science is only administered in grades four and eight.
Third Street School State assessment tests are only administered to third graders.
